Looking for H802 Dual Display Kit (Standard Size)?

⚠️ You are about to load the structure with additional weight. Before proceeding check the structure for a proper installation. Check the anchor screws. Check for a level structure.

Temporarily install each dual display bar to the main structure by sliding the post on the back of the bar into the vertical slot located at the top corners of the structure.

💡 When properly installed, the bar’s weight will rest on the peak of the leg of the structure.

Install the safety pins to connect each bar to the beam of the structure. Install two pins to each bar.

💡 While this is a temporary installation of the dual display bars, it is good practice to immediately install the safety pins to ensure the bars do not move unexpectedly.

Fasten the display-alignment screws through each dual display bar. Adjust each screw with the included ball-end hex key until both dual display bars are level.
Locate the wall stud, near the far end of each dual display bar, that aligns with a pill-shaped anchor hole on each dual display bar.
Mark the pill-shaped hole on the wall. Do this near the end of both dual display bars.

💡 Before you remove the dual display bars to drill the wall anchor holes, use this opportunity to relocate the display-locking bumpers to the correct location for your display.

Two display-locking bumpers are pre-installed to each dual display bar. The
Measure the horizontal distance from the edge of the display to the nearest mounting hole.

🗒️ Take note of this Distance A.

Measure the horizontal distance from the edge of the display to the farthest mounting hole.

🗒️ Take note of this Distance B.

Locate the correct hole on the dual bar to install the inner display-locking bumper. To do so, measure Distance A from the center of the structure (marked with a triangular notch) to the row of bumper-mounting holes on the dual-display bar. Mark the hole that is just short of Distance A with tape.
Locate the correct hole on the dual bar to install the outer display-locking bumper. To do so, measure Distance B from the center of the structure (marked with a triangular notch) to the row of bumper-mounting holes on the dual-display bar. Mark the hole that is just short of Distance B with tape.
Repeat this process to locate the bumper positions on the other dual display bar.

💡 It is easier to install the display-locking bumpers when the dual-display bars are removed from the structure.

Remove the dual display bars from the structure by removing the adjustment screws and safety pins and lifting the bars from the structure.
Relocate the bumpers from their pre-installed location to your marked locations.

💡 When in doubt, install each bumper one hole closer towards the center of the structure. This will still enable the display rails to clasp the bumper without stopping each display from sliding to reach the center of the structure.

⚠️ High-voltage wires may be present inside the wall. There is a risk of injury or death by electric shock. Shut off power to the area at the circuit breakers before proceeding.

💡 The included wall anchors are designed to anchor to steel studs. For anchoring to wood studs, please source hardware appropriate to anchoring to wood studs. For wood studs, we recommend using ⅜ inch diameter Hex Head Screws.

Drill a ¾-inch diameter hole within the pill-shape mark traced to your wall. Drill the hole towards the lower end of the pill shape. Drill through the drywall and the steel wall stud.
Install the SnapToggle wall anchor into the wall and wall stud.
Repeat for the wall anchor location for both dual display bars.
Reinstall the dual display bar to the main structure.
Install the safety pins.

⚠️ For redundant safety, install two safety pins into each dual display bar.

Fasten the adjustment screw connecting the dual display bar to the horizontal beam.
Adjust the screw to level the dual display bar.
Fasten the dual display bar to its wall anchor using the provided screw, washer, and shouldered nylon spacer.

💡 When fastened, the dual bar will be anchored to the wall but free to move up and down slightly to enable alignment of two displays in later steps.

Repeat steps for the second dual display bar.

🗒️ How far above the finished floor (AFF) do you want the bottom edge of your displays? Take into account several factors such as the desired position of the video camera lens, display size, and a comfortable screen viewing angle. In general, we recommend positioning the center of your camera lens about 44 inches to 46 inches AFF. Then position the bottom edge of your display about one inch above the body of the camera.

💡 Consider if camera movement will cause the camera to strike the display. For example, the hibernation position of a Logitech Rally Camera requires two additional inches of clearance between the display and the camera.

Place masking tape on the wall at the height where you would like to position the bottom edge of your display.
Measure the distance between the tape and the top edge of the dual display bar.

🗒️ Take note of Measurement X.

⚠️ The display rails included with your Dual Display Kit are to be used for the right-hand display. These rails engage the display-locking bumper when the display is slid from the right end of the right dual display bar towards the center of the structure. Therefore the open-ended slot on the right-hand display rails opens to the left.

💡 The mounting height of the display is determined by the installation position of the display rail relative to your display.

With your display standing in its packaging or leaning against a wall, use a tape measure to measure up from the bottom edge of the display.
Place masking tape on the back of your display at measurement X. You noted this measurement in the previous step.
Position a right-hand display rail against your display so that the cork liner on the rail hook aligns with measurement X.

💡 If you cannot position the hook at measurement X while aligning to both the lower and upper mounting holes on the display, move the hook’s installation position relative to the display rail. To do so, remove the nuts holding the hook part to the rail, then move the hook to the high or low hook mounting position, then fasten the hook back in place.

From the provided set of display-mounting screws, select the correct length and size of screws for your display’s mounting holes, fasten each display rail to your display.

⚠️ Refer to your display manufacturer’s instructions for the proper screw size and depth to be used with your display.

Fasten the wall bumper bracket to the low end of the right-hand (when viewing your display from the front) display rail using the provided thumbscrews.

💡 Wall bumper brackets span the gap between your display and the wall to vertically position heavy displays.

⚠️ The display rails included with your Heckler AV Wall Structure are to be used for the left-hand display. These rails engage the display-locking bumper when the display is slid from the left end of the left dual display bar towards the center of the structure.
