Step 1 Create your artwork

We recommend creating your artwork separately from the template, then pasting your finished artwork into the template.

To create your artwork, create a CMYK canvas that measures 6382 by 815 pixels. You may work on a larger canvas, but keep in mind that the template employs a clipping mask to generate the final export, which will be 6382 by 815 pixels.

Step 2 Copy & Paste your artwork into the template

Open your artwork in a separate Photoshop file. Make sure your artwork is flatted in one layer. Select your artwork layer, Select All (CTRL+A in windows or Command+A in mac OS), then Copy (CTRL+C in windows or Command+C in mac OS).

Back in this template , go to the “Artwork” artboard and select the Green layer (PASTE YOUR ARTWORK HERE), and paste your artwork into that layer(CTRL+V in windows or Command+V in mac OS). Your artwork should be automatically clipped to the printed area of the Easy Clean Cover. Transform your artwork(CTRL+T in windows or Command+T in mac OS), resize and position the artwork as needed.

Step 3 Check artwork compatibility

Check the grill area

Toggle the Orange layer. This layer represents the grill covers. In actuality, these areas consist of a white grill mesh with a white background behind them. Refrain from placing small text, numbers, or intricate details in this area.

Check the Mic & Speaker Areas

Toggle the Blue layer, which represents the microphone array and speaker. In actuality, these areas consist of a white grill mesh with a black background. Refrain from placing any parts of a logo, small text, numbers, or intricate details in this area.

Check the artwork in relation to the cover body

Toggle the Grey layer. This area signifies the exposed, unprintable sections of the cover, which are actually white, matte plastic. For optimal results, consider these white areas when designing your artwork. It's best to avoid fine lines contouring these perimeter areas, as artwork alignment can vary by approximately 1mm.

Step 4 Export

When you are happy with the artwork, turn off all layers in the “HIDE THIS FOLDER BEFORE EXPORT” folder including these instructions.

Select File, Save As, and select TIFF as the export file format. Use the default TIFF Options as shown below.
